u probably can burn the images on a windows computer yes but u wuld have to download the windows version of stuffit expander and use it to expand the .bin files

ok so i have stuffit for OSX.. would that extract the bin file ok?

it appeared to work for me.. this is what the file looks like. . it has no extension..  taking it over to a PC to see what it makes of it. 

also found a windows stuffit expander as well.. so i'll try that approach
