The T-Racks for os9 used in Tcworks spark XL 2.8, work perfectly well for me, they process at 24 bit internally and 24-bit recordings also improve them, the compressor does its job well in sound design tasks or final mastring, similar sound or very similar to a bombfactory 1176, the limiter is warmer than the ones that each version of pro tools brings with its digiracks.
the equalizer is not impressive, but it can brighten up a dull sound, the low frequencies work like a logic audio equalizer, the mids are not good and I never play them, treble is very good for hi-hat, details of reverb.
work better than free plugins and shareware, some crap accumulated in warez collections just don't react.
This version of T-racks has arguably one of the best compressors for drum loops, and the EQ might not be as good as Digital Performer's 4-band EQ, but it can give McDSP may not be as good as expected.
I'm using them a lot now for 24-bit audio processing.
in the recordings they are very light with the CPU.
I also use them in ableton live 1.0 which is only for audio and I use it as an alternative to what was at the time Acid Pro 2, it really is great for making arrangements and audio montages, I like them because of how well they work and how light they are They are.
