No, but I remember that there was something that could install a different zoom effect where the rectangle rotates. Do you remember its name?

i have seen that one with the rotation too but cant remember what it was, i am only disabling them here because i find it distracting.

The rotation can be done by Kaleidoscope.

I wrote my own zoom effect removal extension. It's better than NoFinderZoom9 because the effect is deleted from Finder only and it waits until the I/O queue is empty by repeating Delay(1).

It seems to have the side effect of a smoother Finder experience but this is difficult to judge.

The -110 errors keep coming. It's usually shortly after I type command-backspace while the Trash has List View. I'm trying DiskShield now. It's the only thing I have that flushes the directory more than Finder.

It removes now 3 functions from Finder:
1. TransitionWindow is used when opening or closing windows.
2. ZoomRects is used at startup when every volume is zoomed to the entire desktop.
3. ZoomRegion is used when you select something and press command-backspace and if you move something and it’s moved back because you chose to always snap to grid.

I found a simple solution for the -110 error: quit CodeWarrior if you don’t use it instead of leaving it open.
