QS hardware, Sawtooth case?
« on: June 22, 2016, 11:59:14 AM »
Before I get handy/destructive with a screwdriver I would like to know if it would be an exercise in futility or worth the time and effort.

I want to take the motherboard and power supply from a Quicksilver 2002 and put it into a Sawtooth case. I have a ton of Macs with that damn aluminum/silver/chrome colour, and this great condition Sawtooth is really a nice change.

I know I would have to cut out the IO section because the IO of the boards are different. That is a given.

But otherwise--is it possible?
15 Macs (13 of them ranging from an SE to a MDD), 2 iPads, 2 iPhones, 1 Hackintosh. Small house getting smaller with each Mac. . . . .  .Husband shakes his head but supports my habit.
