Pro Tools version for DIGI 001

I’ve just completed putting together an OS9 Pro Tools LE system consisting of a G4 Digital Audio dual 533 and a Digi 001. I’ve installed Pro Tools version 5.1.1 and then the beta patch that provides up to 32 tracks.
My questions are:

1.   Am I using the best version of Pro Tools for these hardware specs? I’ve seen references to 5.1.3 but I’m not sure what that version includes and if it will work with the Digi 001.

2.   I’ve downloaded all of the RTAS plugins from the forum here but after copying a few of them to the DAE folder they don’t appear to be showing up and available for use. I haven’t tried all of them but so far the first 6 don’t work. Can someone assist me with getting the plugins to work?
