Hi everyone.

I have an old SIT file I want to expand and I'm afraid my OSX "the unarchiver" is not really doing it right.  I thought it would be better to unzip the SIT file with OS9 itself instead to insure the files are not being mixed up or something.

When I moved over the "unicode" extraction the "exe" files don't appear to be something OS9 knows what to with.

Thanks,
Caleb

You can still get stuffit expander for OS X.  I occasionally have to use it and have not had any trouble (keyword there though is occasionally).

If it ain't broke, don't fix it, or break it so you can fix it!

I found this for OS6..  which is ultimately where I'm trying to get the files installed..

so now that I have a working floppy and the G4 can read a formatted (native) OS6 disk from the Mac Classic, I think I'll finally be able to get turbo synth over to it..  though I'm afraid maybe it's an OS7 program that still won't run on the old Mac Classic.

still being weird though..  more to explore..  i had a disk re-read after ejecting another one.. but then it acted up again..  floppy drive might be bad after all..  will have to test more..
