Install failure

Maybe it's just me doing something wrong, but I'm unable to install Mac Os 9.2.2 (The universal install from this very forum) on an iMac G3 (the cute blueberry one).
The CD boot just fine and the install program also boot just fine, but when I try to install, sometime around 10/20% from installation the installation procedure just fail. I dunno why, I followed the instructions on the txt file and initialized the HDD just like it told me. Maybe that version of Os 9 is too new?
