Jumping from Protools LE to HD
« on: December 13, 2015, 04:52:22 PM »
A friend is going to donate me a PCI HD1 core card!

I still need a 96 I/O or a 192 I/O frame and a cable. From time to time you can see empty frames very cheap. My main AD/DA is a focurite LS 52 and I only need ADAT I/O to another PT rig. I am in no hurry to build that HD rig. Probably on summer, when I get more $$$.

Santa, I need this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Avid-Digidesign-Pro-Tools-192-Analog-Chassis-digilink-cable-10-/301688246244  ;D

There is a legacy connector on 192 I/O that let run those 1622 and 88x converters too.

So, probably, if I make a HD rig it could include old school black converters.

I wish Protools 5 HD can run standalone without converters as the DIGI 001 does without the rack. At least in that way I could use some TDM magic that has been neglected to me.  ;D
Even offline access to "only TDM" audiosuite could be great!

Looking for MacOS 9.2.4
