This doesn't work on MDDs as is.
You have to make some mods...
and forget about 28 v. pin.

mactron that url is for a sawtooth psu adapter.. that is not relevant for an mdd..

eTtore:
if your mac has a busted power supply.. do yourself a favor - dont try to replace it.
just get another mac that has an ok power supply.
its too much effort. when u can buy anohter mac cheap.

OK, but we only have to rewire a few more wires ...

The problem is the 28v pin and how to fit an ATX PSU inside a MDD case.

there is no other PSU that will provide this 28v power
other then buying another MDD powersupply
which is more expensive then finding another whole mdd!!!

I have read somewhere that the 25v pin is for the adc monitor;so if you haven't you dont need to connect 25v pin.its correct?

i want to change it for the noise.

u can replace the fans inside the powersupply which is easier + will fix the noise problem
there are many threads on this forum about how to do just that
