Any T-Racks 24 users? Won't open Wav or AIFF....

Do any people who use T-Racks 24 know why it would not even show WAVE or AIFF files under open?  The only files it even displays are MP3, which it doesn't think it can import.

I have read it can be a resource-forks issue, but even after stripping those, it seems to make no difference.

which version of t-racks is it..
as far as i know its a standalone app..
that processes an incoming signal to an output

i think there are vst + Rtas versions but i think they are osx only?

I have T-Racks 24 but not sure what your problem would be. Just reinstalled it after many years so I need to get reacquainted with it.

T-RackS RTAS works great here. No issues at all with Pro Tools 5.1.3cs11.
Already mastered two songs with it that we released on Spotify, Google Play and iTunes

ive never tried the RTAS version! i only ever tried the sstandalone and i didnt really get how it would be usefull to anything unless u devote a 2ndary machine to processing that one plugin alone!!! pretty retarded;)

isnt there a VST version aswell?

You don't need a second machine ... You just open a stereo file and apply the eq/ compression/limiter ... It can sound pretty good too! I think the eq only has 4 bands so probably wouldn't be the 'go to' for lots of surgical tweaking but sounds reasonably good/ smooth.

here is a chart showing that there is a vst version for mac os 9

version 3.0 came out in 2008 (i think)
and version 4.0 came out late 2012 (i think)
so the mac os 9 version has to be t-racks v1.x something

Thanks so much.  My version was working, but seems to be kaput now.  I don't need the 24-bit functionality so this might be great.

Any chance that can be rectified in the near future?... Pretty please??... with sugar on top???

The ProTools plugins were never migrated to the new sever and I am going to need a moderator (like PT5) to pickup the ball here, this is the first time anyone has asked for them in 2 years, I will look for a backup, but the the meantime, any PMs with someone who wants to really, and I mean REALLY organized and clearly label the OS9 Protools stuff, I can revamp it.

I tested, organized, wrote a description/post for, made a screenshot of, bin'd, and uploaded something like 50 plugins a few years back, once to an FTP and once to Adrive. They were never posted. I asked about getting them up quite a few times too. Do you have a backup of that? I'm going to go check and see if they're still sitting around. Let me send you a PM...
