« on: February 14, 2015, 08:01:32 AM »
My  keyboard is USB.

How do i make the "virtual" connections in OMS or FreeMidi ( re: Studio Visions, Digital Performer, Cubase etc ) or Apple Midi Manager ( re: Ballade )  ?
LC520(my first iMac @ 25 MHz ), 8500/SonnetG4, Performa6360, QuickSilver PowerPC G4 ( 933MHz ), iMac PowerPC G3 500 MHz ,iMac @ 3.06 GHz, AND a plethora of midi/audio/recording gear and software and oh! let's not forget all those acoustical music instruments

there doesnt seem to be an existing oms driver posted on their download pages

u might need to use a midi cable / supported usb midi interface
or
u might be able to make your own studio setup with oms..

if it says that it supports mac os 9 then it should have come with a disk that includes the oms setup document that makes it work with oms..

all the info you need is here on the site posted many times.
you have to run the oms setup configuration to describe your midi configuration
alot of gear will be supported natively by oms without need for an additional driver file
but in some occurences you may need to provide a file which contains setup information
which would have been provided by the manufacturer of whatever device.
