EXS24 and Logic 4.04
« on: January 31, 2015, 01:44:01 PM »
I'm trying to run the EXS24 sampler on my Apple Power Mac G4 and it refuses to run. I've found it here:

http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/exs24-es1

I'm pretty new with Mac OS audio softwares so maybe it's something very simple I just don't know. I've tried to patch my Logic and it didn't work because it's no the same version.

Any idea on how to make it work?

Thanks!

IIRC EXS24 requires Logic 4.3 or later. I used it with v 4.7 without any problems.

someone on mac garden recently claimed that following the 4.81 upgrade, the exs etc authorizers do not work...

if this is true this is probably why ive never got them to work ..
because i always did the 4.81 upgrade to get fully functional bug-free rewire (not that i like rewire much anymore i prefer to keep things simple + use the actual hardware ins + outs)

but can anyone give any info on this??
is this a fact? the authorizers are broken once upgraded past 4.7?

I remember logic users past 4.5 using a burned EXS 24 CD to authorize it when eventually it asked for.
Looking for MacOS 9.2.4
