Box says "VST compatibility" does that mean it loads VST effects or is loadable itself as a VST plugin... (which would be one Big ass plug)
Instruments look "hardwired" so probably no VST instrument support.
i am also interested to get clarification on the "vst compatibility" i didnt even see that !!
nice catch
Reason, Live, Sonar compatibility
where does it say vst compatibility?
ok i see it now
Cubase + Logic Audio compatibility through the VST instruments protocol
hmm perhaps each of the modules of this app can be loaded as a sperate vst directly into cubase?
thats what i would understand from this sentence?
We need to get this here and check it out... Arturia always seemed behind when it came to VST Instument sound quality, but this could be the best this they ever made.
maybe, or maybe the listener is comparing to other vsts that are being routed thru fx (fm7 features its own internal effects) perhaps this isnt a fair comparison...in that a real engineer can make any dry sound sound great when wet with the right effects...
but i will agree that as a novice, loading up the vst without any special treatment
there are more impressive sounds to be found outside the arturia brandname
nevertheless
this arturia storm app is different from all of the other arturia software
the rest are all plugins, this app acts as a mixer application
meaning u can record sounds from rebirth or reason or live or Any rewire slave application directly into this app.. (as wave/aif im assuming?)
we need to get clarity on its vst functionality asap!!
i will try to find the manual
