is it compatible with mac os 9 + pro tools 5.1?
its hard to find info because there was another version in 2006 released with almost the same name

nowhere in the manual/guide revision from 2006 does it say anything about operating system or computer hardware requirements..

but i did find a page in the manual that appears to feature windows xp graphics + also mac os 9 graphics

Control|24 With Digi 001 & ToolBox Mac Pro Tools LE Systems

This download consists of the Control|24 personality file allowing Pro Tools LE users to use the Control|24 hardware with the Digi 001 or Toolbox/Audiomedia III Pro Tools LE systems.

Requirements for using Control|24 hardware with Digi 001 or ToolBox Mac Systems:

    Previous installation of Pro Tools LE 5.1.1 software

PLUS either of the following:

    Pro Tools LE 32T Beta (32 track maximum)
    Pro Tools LE 5.2.1 for DigiStudio* (24 track maximum)

*DigiStudio & Rocket Network discontinued. Support for Control|24 is the only feature in 5.2.1 over Pro Tools LE 5.1.1 for Digi 001 and Toolbox/Audiomedia III or 5.2 for Mbox.

Installation instructions are included with the download:

The downloaded personality file named "Control|24" should be copied to the following location on your Pro Tools system hard drive:

The following systems do not need to download this software, as it is already installed during the Pro Tools installation:

    All Pro Tools TDM 5.1.1 and higher systems

The later 2006 version is NOT compatible. I have tried it myself and it doesn't work.
The older one works great, but the more high-end Pro Control works better

i hit one at ebay for little money from a local radio station in Luxemburg.
like new , works fine with OS 9.2.2 pt 5.1.3 and with OS X PT 6.4.1
