from looking at the chart.. simply moving R1 resistor to R7 position would change clock from 867mhz - 1067mhz!!!!!!!!
i read on another overclock that these "Resistors" actually dont need to be resistors at all..
and that using a conductive pen u can just join the two points by drawing a line
this would make the 933mhz + 1000mhz mods VERY EASY!!!!! if its true
for example to turn a 867mhz qs cpu clock to 1000mhz a line drawn with cond.pen on r3 to join
the points would result in 133mhz clock gain!! i dont like to remove something for fear that i cnat put it back properly
but adding that.. would be pretty easy i think

possible other easy changes:
800mhz cpu to 867mhz : add R1
733mhz cpu to 1ghz : add R1

too bad clocking up a 933 doesnt require any resistor removal
but to go from 933-> 1ghz, must remove R7 + add R5
i think a 933mhz would easily clock to 1ghz!!!
but the easiest with most gain would be to go 733->1ghz
and these 733mhz modules are very cheap on ebay almost free
but question is.. can a 733 handle that much overclock
i think thats why ive read of 733->933 being a common + no problems overclock
but this would require : removing R5, Add R1, Add R7
too much trouble for a cpu with no cache?

i wonder if this would work to oc a 800 dual qs cpu aswell
ie would it work for both cpu or would there  be two sets of pll one for each cpu?

i like the quicksilver
its a great os 9 machine
less heavy + less noise
4slots..
using sata150 pci to upgrade from ata-66 makes it even sicker;)
+ stealth port fits really nicely without taking up a pci slot in these machines
i need to figure out a mod to add stealth port on the back of the mdd..
break out a dremel

Interesting. In real world experience would you notice an improvement of 100mhz? I am curious.

yes absolutely.. but also increased heat from the cpu, i would think it would be best to experiment with a secondary cpu
to be safe.. that would be my plan.
