that would be a good jump up frm my score

Yes, it is my favorite overlock. Most of them achieve 1.5Ghz easily without increasing core voltage. I have one at 1.5 hard working for 9 years without a glitch.
Unfortunately some of them can't pass 1.42 Ghz. Do you remember "My Color ring theory" ?

this is a light overclock, no extra cooling is needed.

Those results aren't valid for Mac Os 9.
