is it possible?
is it worth it?
Yes, it is my favorite overlock. Most of them achieve 1.5Ghz easily without increasing core voltage. I have one at 1.5 hard working for 9 years without a glitch.
Unfortunately some of them can't pass 1.42 Ghz. Do you remember "My Color ring theory" ?

im just wondering if i could combine an overclock with
air cooling

this is a light overclock, no extra cooling is needed.

i see a 921 score
that would be a good jump up frm my score
which is 779 score @ 1.25ghz

or would it oc to 1467?

1.4ghz 877 score

Those results aren't valid for Mac Os 9.
Here you have the good ones:

The first Macintosh overclocks were too difficult because it implied changing (sometimes several times) crystal oscillator from the motherboard (Clock Chipping). In the "modern ones" overclocking by changing the multiplier settings are really easiest , just scary the first time ...
Software overclock seems easy but it can easily be lost by several causes. The machines I have with software overclock, I have to repeat the overclock several times a year...
