Mac users will require a minimum of a Power Mac with 500MHz G3 processor, running a 100MHz buss with Mac OS 9, while PC owners need a Pentium II 400MHz processor and Windows 95, 98, ME, or 2000. Both platforms must have a minimum of 256Mb of free RAM, and preferably 512Mb. You'll also need 1.3Gb of free space on your hard drive, and a VST host application!

Steinberg "the grand" is my favorite virtual piano. I tested against several "big ones":

Acoustic Samples Kawai EX
Garritan Steinway
Bardstown Bosendorfer
Sonart Audio Bosendorfer 290
EWQL Boesendorfer 290
EWQL Steinway (Colossus)
EWQL Fazioly (Colossus)
Sampletekk Steinway Black
Sonart Yamaha C7
Adam Serafin's Piano

And Steinberg "the grand" always win. At least to my taste.

Better even: this Kawai piano is from wizoo and also were avaliable in Halion and EXS format. I use it in NI Kompakt because is much more lightweight than with the Steinberg interface.
