super cool  8) !! i searched so long for this .....

problem only , it wont start , registration is working fine .

the following massage displayed :

the mp3 option cannot be enabled
because : a program error occurred
(-2802) while looking up sombol "codecinit" in "mp3.dll"

no mp3 export possible 

i need help .... :-\

the mp3.dll from digidesign is working ...

use the password from macintoshgarden , this works  8)

Believe it or not I downloaded a fully working mp3 plugin with password from an old archived Digidesign page, some tech was kind enough to leave a one size fits all password in the documentation when they closed up shop on the OS9 stuff.

I believe this is the page http://archive.digidesign.com/download/mp3/ look for the description shown below thats the download link you want--  ;D 

Pro Tools 5.1.1/5.1.3/5.2 for Pro Tools|24 or MIX
Download MP3 Option v1.1.1 Update for Macintosh
