As we reach the end... we have gathered so much lost OS9 Audio stuff... probably now hitting 70 to 80% of Hosts and Plugins, I would like to thank all of the contributors to this forum

Now for a group decision... If we have all downloaded what we need, we must decide the future of the forum; we can keep it going as long as you guys want, but I am asking for donations if we are going make this a "permanent" Archive for beginning musicians and Studio owners; small donations ($5 to $15) would help pay for the Online Storage and Web based fees (I have paid all these fees personally up to now).  I would like to create a budget to keep us going far into the future.

If you have given more than you have received, then I am sorry... please disregard this blatant attempt to steal the hard earned dollars from your pocket.

So here is the criteria for donators...
1) You have found this site useful and you are NOT a starving musician
2) You like to give more than you receive
3) All the children in the house are fed
4) You have NO instruments at Pawn Shop

but, the end? of vst plugins? + software?  i dont think so
we have alot of holes to fill alot of things have been posted on the forums
but not in the downloads. some important things some not so important things but
i think there are alot more to find off the beaten path
maybe more dificult to dig up then previously but its not the end;)

I hope the end of just collecting. With the right setups and disk images we are going to make music, instead of talking about it...
Two years ago I would never thought there were sibelius, melodine, kontakt and quadraSID for OS9.... What a work you all have done...

I've been working at my rig since the beginning of this year. Only a little more time before it's 100%. I've already got almost everything I need... I hope those pop up here sometime.

Mactron and I still have a lot of CDs/ DVDs to go thru, I just meant we probably have about 70% of the OS 9 DAW stuff ever made... that was my "reaching the end..." of collecting things speech... so I was asking that if we ever do officially reach the end... How long you guys want to keep this archive alive for the less fortunate poor musicians that still haven't gotten their first mac ?

If I can afford it, we can keep it going until Mac OS C (one hundred)

But first things first, where can I contribute drivers and such? I don't have much, but a few disks that came with my equipment almost 15 years ago. So, is there a list of what's still missing?

the system of giving out the ftp info is based on talking directly to the administrators diehard or mactron.....
if you want to get access to the ftp to upload + Contribute files u must arrange this with the admins personally via Private message.

I wish! Believe it or not, I have less than $5, and I have a kid who I just about keep fed. I love to be generous when I can afford to, But at least I have a wealth of software, so that's what I am contributing now. If I can help with hosting later, I'd be happy to, but it's not a possibility now.

This site is already in my budget and NO donations are currently needed, so let's please forget about this thread and move on (no more bumps) before I delete it.  There are many members here that contribute time and knowledge, and you cannot put any price on that, so let's all celebrate this awesome new OS 9 year !
