can we make our own custom .NKI kontakt libraries?

would there be a way to create this on mac os9 ? using just cubase + kontakt?
is it that easy?

No. it is more easy....
Just drag an drop an audio file from Kompakt file browser to Kompakt keyboard... and your instrument is ready to use! LOL
For Kontakt the basic process it is well explained,but the things easily become more complex.
But just lets make some math: the 32Gb "Custom Library Gold" have around 2000 instruments, and one "medium size" instrument is based on 100 samples (Wizoo Piano itself is based on around 400 samples)...

so...

for the creation of bigger custom libraries i would not use kontakt or halion as my first choice, but gigasampler or even a custom format, then convert possible other formats from these.

i am thinking commercial distributions here, but eventually it is a good idea for private use, too.
