Re: Mighty Mouse wheel scrolling in os 9?

as many of us surely know..
the mighty mouse scroll wheel does not work the same as older scroll mice such as logitechs etc..
thus it does not work with usb overdrive and other apps that can enable mouse wheel scrolling in os 9!
but i thought i might just pose the question anyway
in the rare chance than an answer does appear!

does anyone know of a way to get the mouse scroll ball in many OSX mice to work in mac os 9?
perhaps there is a 3rd party extension somewhere? where is the usb overdrive author;)

i never really understodd how it works. since many years i run logitech mice with my macs, and in OS9 i use them without driver. currently i need to leave the mouse controlpanel in the autoload folder in order to restore the correct mouse speed (as slow as possible), a very "unprofessional" but perfectly safe workaround to avoid using the logitech driver (or if there is none)

hate the mighty mouse anyway, so i dont know ... but i am interested in how the newer keyboards work?
